Hague Pattern Holder

The idea of this little gadget is great but it could do with a few adjustments. I have a Silver Reed SK840 standard gauge (new) - the yarn guide rod is too thick to fit this gadget as the recess cut into one of the fastening pieces is too narrow and the screw is too short to fasten. I also have a Silver Reed SK155 chunky gauge machine (new) - the yarn guide is thinner and just fits the pattern holder. It would be ideal if larger versions were available or the item was redesigned to accommodate the varying sizes of yarn rods across knitting machine ranges and brands.

Works well on a standard gauge machine yarn tension guide. It doesn’t work with the thicker colour changer or the chunky machine because the recess cut into one of the fastening plates is too narrow for them. I will buy two larger version for my more substantial yarn guides if they become available.
