The Hague D280 Electric Linking Machine allows you to quickly and easily link together the seams of knitted garments such as sleeves, body, collars and bands. The Linker professionally links garments, so you can achieve that truly professional finish, and saves hours of sewing seams by hand. It can also be used for decorative linking.
If you have a knitting machine, you need a Hague Linker to save you hours of tedious hand sewing. You just place the knitting on the circular point ring, which rotates as the foot pedal is operated, and the seams are linked together. It's as simple as that.
The circular linking action of the Hague Linker links perfectly without any joins creating seams which are so neat you can hardly see them and if you use the same yarn as the garment you can create perfect seams that wear and stretch with it. The Linker can link up whole necklines and bands of any length with ease and it even matches patterns perfectly, stitch for stitch.
The Hague Linker produces exciting surface patterning with cords, braids, sequins and ribbons whilst putting lovely professional pin tucks at your fingertips. The Hague Electric Linker 230v version is supplied with a UK mains adaptor but this can be replaced with a local plug or used with an adaptor internationally. All 110v Linkers are supplied with a standard US plug attached. Please note that the version of Linker supplied will match the voltage chosen.

Average Performance
It performs to a reasonable standard. The motor is quite weak and not very powerful at all. I've used this for UK 4ply acrylic yarn only and it struggles to go through double seams (eg side seams over sleeve seams) when it's running at mid-speed. I've only had this a few days and already had to loosen the motor screw to free a jammed needle on 4ply acrylic yarn as the needle got stuck on a double seam. If you start off at mid-speed and you're joining two side seams together you may find the first part of the edges are pulled off the pins so it's important to secure the seams down with your fingers at the start for the first few centimetres. If the motor was more powerful then the machine would definitely be worth more stars and a far better review.

Having just got back into machine knitting after many years I found it was taking as long finishing the garment off as to knit it!. I purchased the D280E and I can't begin to tell you how fabulous this is! It seams very neatly and attaching the ribbed neckline gives a truly professional finish. I can't recommend this machine highly enough for the finish and the ease of use.

This machine has changed my life. No more long hours of crotcheting clothing together. The customer service at Hague is FANTASTIC! I placed my order and realized I made a mistake in typing my address, the man at Hague was so helpful and fixed it. I ordered it on may 1 and it arrived in the USA on may 3! Incredible!!! The machine worked perfectly out of the box. I’m obsessed with it! If you’re debating on getting the electric or the manual…. Spend the extra on the electric. Well worth the money. Thank you Hague!!!
